Luc Jonker, Chairman & CEO
Luc joined Intrasonics as Chairman in January 2008 following the takeover by its current shareholders from Sagentia in 2007. Since January 2010 Luc has taken responsibility as CEO of Intrasonics to guide the company through the next phase of commercialising its technology.
Luc studied Physics at University of Utrecht with a focus on nuclear & plasma physics and has an MBA from Erasmus University Rotterdam. He joined DSM in 1988. In 1997 he became the Managing Director Benelux for Motorola, reaching a number one position in the market In 1999. In 2002 Luc joined Pon Holdings following which, he successfully managed a number of start-ups. Luc has a wide experience in general management both in large corporates and start-ups, driving for commercial success, and in business development, especially where technology and marketing meet. He has broad international work experience throughout Europe, USA and Asia and has been based in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong.

John Barrott, Technical Director
John joined Intrasonics in June 2009 and brings extensive experience in the areas of managing post start-up growth and deploying new technologies into the real world.
John is a graduate of physics and electronics and initially worked in the semiconductor industry for 14 years before moving to Cambridge to join the Generics consulting group in 1995. Here he managed a wide variety of technology, product development and business improvement projects for many clients. He joined the board of a new technology start-up in 1999 and then ran this company for 5 years (as European Managing Director) following its acquisition by a US-based parent. Subsequently, John also set up and ran his own technical operations consultancy.

Michael Reynolds, Research Director
Michael graduated from Southampton University with a BSc (Hons.) in Electronic Engineering in 1981. His background is in radio communications systems with a very broad range of experience, having worked in the past for TV broadcasters, Mobile handset developers and Semiconductor manufacturers. Michael has been involved in Handset design since 1986 where he was part of a team developing first generation handportable phones.
Michael has led the Intrasonics technology development since its inception in 1997, driving it forward to meet the demands of each application area explored. This has resulted in the current generation of technology that has been described by several independent testers as the best technology for mobile handset interaction using data hiding. Michael is a Member of the IET and a Chartered Engineer.
